A disgruntled Japanese auto worker at a Mazda plant slammed a car into a crowd of employees on Tuesday, killing one person and injuring 10 before he got arrested.

The 42-year-old man, a former temporary worker at the plant, was carrying a knife, Jiji Press reported.

The arrested man told police he felt resentment again Mazda since he stopped working two months ago at the plant in the western prefecture of Hiroshima, public broadcaster NHK reported.
