Honda S2000 Successor Replacement Model?
Beginning of this year, Honda announced that the S2000 Roadster's decade-long production run will come to an end this year, leaving the company without a proper sports car.
However, in addition to the launch of the production version of the front-wheel drive CR-Z hybrid small coupe in 2010, Japan's Best Car is now reporting that Honda is also working on a larger and more powerful coupe that would likely to be the replacement model of the S2000. Best Car claims that the 2+2 coupe would ditch the S2000's rear-wheel drive layout for the firm's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system.
Furthermore, it is said in the report that the sports coupe will benefit from a hybrid system similar to the ones used on Honda's Insight and Civic IMA hybrid cars. No details on if the S2000 replacement would use what kind of engine for now.

Toyota Diesel Hybrid Forklift
The new Geneo-Hybrid forklift has maximum load capacity of 3,500 kg, and combines a 2.5-liter diesel with a NIMH battery pack and motor. The system operates as a series hybrid system when the forklift is driving, with the engine powering a generator. It operates as a parallel hybrid system which the battery-powered motor and the engine both power a hydraulic pump system when lifting.
According to Toyota, this diesel-hybrid forklift will have a 50% better fuel economy and 50% better emissions than a comparable 3.5t diesel forklift, which is pretty decent, if a bit underwhelming.
Electric forklifts probably are greener when they can be used, but when a longer range and operating time is required, a diesel-hybrid probably is the best choice. Depending on the emission control hardware, it might even run on B100 biodiesel.

Volkswagen to assemble vehicles in Indonesia
Volkswagen AG is expanding its commitment in Southeast Asia as part of its 2018 growth strategy. In cooperation with the Indonesian partner company Indomobil, local vehicle assembly operations are to be set up as a first step toward the long-term development of ASEAN markets. An agreement on assembling Volkswagen models in the capital city of Jakarta has already been signed.
The goal of the partnership with Indomobil is to develop the Indonesian automobile market with locally built vehicles. Production of partly assembled Volkswagen brand models will commence this year. Initial production capacity from summer 2009 will be several hundred VW Touran and will subsequently be steadily increased. In a further step, CKD production of Group vehicles from 2012 is conceivable.
"Current trends on world markets clearly show how important the timely development of new growth regions is. The only way to secure global growth and safeguard jobs is to focus on tomorrow's markets today," said Christian Klingler of Volkswagen Passenger Cars.

Mitsubishi's New Double Cab L200 Triton with Extended Bed in UK
A new variant of Mitsubishi's L200 Triton Pick-up with an extended bed and increased power has been introduced in the UK. The L200 Triton Long Bed having a longer bed that has been extended by 18cm or 7 inches in overall length, without affecting the passenger cabin space.
In addition to the extended bed, Mitsubishi UK offers a more potent version of the 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 176HP, up from 134HP in the L200 Warrior and 166HP in the L200 Animal.
This make me curious whether Mitsubishi Malaysia will be bringing in this model as well as the 176HP engine into Malaysia to compete with the new Nissan Navara that produce 174ps when the Euro-II Diesel introduce on coming September 2009 in local market.

Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline Stolen From Los Angeles Warehouse
The Nissan Skyline that Paul Walker drove in the latest Fast & Furious movie was stolen from its storage facility in Los Angeles in a 10 minutes time span.
Although dressed up to look like a full-on R34 GT-R for the movie, the car underneath was actually a lower-spec GT-S. Reports indicate that thieves, evidently knowing the car was inside, broke through a metal door and ripped off that specific car, bumped a BMW and leaving the rest but scratched up a Studebaker Silverhawk and a Porsche Boxster on the way out. The worse thing is the Skyline that valued at around $75k wasn't even insured.

'ala' Louis Vuitton Cars
Recently I realise the trend of Louis Vuitton (LV) everywhere from handbag, wallet, key pouch, clothing and more...
Now, even Passenger Car with its Louis Vuitton outer skin but it deserves to be ranked amongst the worst even from old junk at the states to Perodua MyVi at Malaysia, and Perodua MyVi at Malaysia to Rolls Royce Phantom at Great Britain.
This goes to show you that bad taste has no limits nor boundaries, it knows no rules or classes...
