From the source (Temple of VTEC), they have a set of leaked brochure of the 2011 Honda CR-Z with some specs and trim details.
As the result of that, we have specification figures on the 1.5-liter engine's output with 112hp @ 6,000 rpm on its own and another 14hp from its electric motor. Just as importantly, the engine creates 107 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm with the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system boosting that by another 57 lb-ft at 1,000 rpm. Coupled with either a six-speed manual or CVT gearbox, the CR-Z perform the 0-100km/h in 9.7 seconds.
Since hybrid cars usually talks about efficiency as main picture, the CR-Z will benefit from LED daytime running lights and turn signal indicators in the mirrors, along with three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. Each controllable from a dash mounted switch and with a different color surrounding the gauges based on the mode.
Furthermore, we have got a new scan featuring the JDM MUGEN variant too. The new photo shows Honda's hybrid-coupe in full MUGEN bodykit with a new front grille, side skirts, front lip, large rear wing, a new rear bumper with diffuser and alloy wheels.
As usual from MUGEN tuning kit and we assume that the 2011 CR-Z will also include numerous other upgrades such as suspension and brake kits, a sport exhaust system and interior options.
Lastly, the new Honda CR-Z will be launched in Japan in February 2010.
