As you all can see from my previous posting. Our serious gang are fixing stone chips on our ride.
Therefore from that time onwards, I analyse the source of those stone chipping. The conclusion shows the source are generally from lorry, trucks, SUV and large sedan with fat tyres.
Basically, you can't avoid but to prevent only.
Tips #1: When cruising on the freeway, ensure maintain a distance from those vehicle listed above and do not tailgating the car in front of your ride.
Tips #2: Do not drive too fast on the highway. The faster speed you cruise, the worst stone chip effect you get.
Tips #3: If possible, prevent driving during peak hours that a lot of trucks will be on the road. The wild stone chips are flying everywhere on the highway.
Tips #4: If the daily route to work have a lot of trucks or passengers with big fat tyres that without mud flaps. Plan to change your job! hahaha:P
