Petrol pump prices may see another drop when Oct 1 comes around.
The Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said if world market prices for fuel remained stable at US$109 for the rest of the year, Malaysians might even enjoy a 15 sen drop below the current rate of RM2.55.
The government raised fuel prices on the 5th of June this year from:- RM1.92 per liter to RM2.70 per liter for RON97, RM1.88 per liter to RM2.62 per liter for RON92 RM1.58 per liter to RM2.581 per liter for MS123 Grade Diesel
It then dropped it on the 23rd of August 2008 to RM2.55 per liter for RON97, RM2.40 per liter for RON92 and RM2.50 per liter for diesel.
