  • Fresh Bottled Draft Beer from Taiwan Beer – “Only 18 Days”

Besides beers from the tap, I have not observed any fresh bottled beers selling in supermarkets or restaurants before until I discovered this Taiwan Beer ‘Only 18 Days’ in Taipei.

The beer taste good and refreshing because this beer is fresh from the brewery without sterilization. As a result, this bottled beer only good for 18 days as printed on the bottles.

The beer is distributed from brewery to outlets entirely below 8 degrees Celsius. More importantly, it is the freshest bottled beer in Taiwan or maybe in South East Asia.

This beer is certainly a great companion when tasting the delicious 台灣熱炒美食. Amazingly, each 600ml bottle Taipei Beer ‘Only 18 Days’ only selling less than NT$65. Man, this is heaven!

  • Rabbit-shape On Moon

This photo is taken from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 30/10/2012.

Stop looking at your phone and start looking at the moon now!

According to researchers at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), a giant rabbit-shaped impression with 3,000 kilometres wide on the moon was created by a collision with a giant meteorite over 3.9 billion years ago.

The length of the low-calcium pyroxene distribution was around 3,000 kilometres, nearly the length of the moon’s diameter. The meteorite that created the basin is thought to have been around 300 kilometers in diameter.

The rabbit-shape is said to have been made when lava erupted after the meteorite and other meteorites hit, collecting and blackening on the surface. The side of the moon that cannot be seen from the Earth is different, nearly completely white and having a thick crust.

  • Ducati Superbike 1199 Panigale

Recently, I am appealed by many sport bike especially the new Honda CBR1000RR and follow by the Ducati 1199 Panigale. At least to me, the Ducati 1199 Panigale is basically a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera for a sport bike.

A quick introduction, the Ducati 1199 Panigale is introduced at the 2011 EICMA. It is named after the small manufacturing town of Borgo Panigale.

At the time of its release, the Ducati 1199 Panigale was the world’s most powerful production twin-cylinder engine with maximum 195hp @ 10,750 rpm and a max torque of 132Nm @ 9,000 rpm from a liquid cooled 90° 1,198 cc V-twin engine.  This bike is recommended to be running with high-octane fuel (RON97 or above) since the compression ratio is running @ 12.5:1. The engine is mated with 6-speed transmission with wet multi-plate slipper clutch and chain drive.

Imagine, 195hp powering the 1x rear wheel. This bike is proven a lot faster than Porsche 911 GT2 RS on a drag race. Watch the video below!

The 1199 Panigale only come with a dry weight of 164 kg, the 1199 has the highest power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratios among production motorcycles.
