Honda has given the Civic Type R (JDM Spec) a tiny refresh for 2009.

Don't get too excited though as the changes are only comestic works and NOTHING FOR the power output, suspension setup and trim levels. They are exactly the same as the current outgoing model. Not a bad thing, the potential of K20A on FD2 is strong enough for its class.

Still, it's easy to forgive Honda for leaving the mechanical package unchanged when you feast your eyes on the 2009 FD2 CTR in its new 09 Premium Purple Pearl paint scheme. If that doesn't tickle your fancy though, there's a very sophisticated Crystal Black Pearl and a classy Premium White Pearl hue to choose from too apart from their std colours.
